We pride ourselves on the remarkable transformations we've achieved in pets lives. Through our one-on-one setting and innovative relationship-building techniques, we've not only changed how grooming is perceived but also improved the overall well-being of countless furry companions. We stand apart by prioritizing love and attention instead of restraints or medications. This unique approach has allowed many pets to not only embrace the grooming process but also alleviate stress for both them and their owners.

This begins when you invite us to your home. Much like a guest or a friend, allowing your pet to be introduced to us on their own terms allows them to explore who we are and us them. Their grooming history does not define them.
There is very rarely ever a sign of domination from either groomer or groomed. We are able to develop a mutual respect for each other, communicating what must be done with constant reassurance.
We must work through what is an actual fear versus what is a learned behavior in attempt to stop the process at hand. Almost all first grooms are fully successful and the second time around will show significant improvement.
Many of our clients were once considered too difficult to be groomed without added stressors or restraints, others simply did not enjoy the grooming shop environment. We use recovery grooming techniques as opposed to traditionally used restraints and sedation.
At Table of Love, we have recovered many animals from a seemingly hopeless state. We have heard everything from "your dog must be sedated for grooming or nail trims" to "we will not be able to accept further appointments because of such and such behaviors"
When she first learned that some pets were not able to be groomed, because they were deemed to be "too difficult" Kat saw both a challenge and an opportunity for change. This was the beginning of a new technique and an inspiration which still drives her today.

"For the past 20 years I have been involved in the lives of animals through working in pet services, either full time or part time. Grooming is what I love, I began grooming 20 years ago and am fortunate to be able to turn my passion in to a full time career. I am fortunate that I am able to develop connections with your pet where sometimes others have struggled. I meet them where they are at, both physically and figuratively. Grooming with love and without restraint is the only way I will engage with a pet client."
